A 2 800 m² fully-insulated broiler house with tunnel ventilation, concrete floor and evaporative cooling — delivered 11 weeks after order, on budget.
What they needed
Hannes Bothma wanted to double his existing flock without breaking the production cycle. The new house had to integrate exactly with his consultant's feed and water systems, and the thermal envelope had to be tight because the farm sits far from the grid.
How we built it
Fully insulated portal-frame structure with PIR roof panels, end-to-end tunnel ventilation and a sealed concrete floor. Our workshop pre-marked all the steel so erection was done in 18 days.
What stands today
The flock was fully placed six weeks after handover. The thermal envelope cut Hannes's energy use per bird by 22% versus his older house.
